met and greet by your local tour guide and transferred to hotel.

Today`s city tour in Beijing will include the visit to the Tiananmen Square, the largest city
center square in the world You will then proceed to walk to the Meridien Gate of the
Forbidden City and visit the splendid palace, the ancient residence of emperors and bastion
of imperial power. The 250-acre palace contains more than 9000 rooms. Closed to all but the
highest nobility for centuries, the city has been opened to the public since only 1949 and soon
become the one of the most important attractions for tourists. Spend the early afternoon in
Wangfujing Pedestrian Street followed by a visit to the Hutong area. Today’s activities are
designed to offer a glimpse at the local people’s life, visit a local family, you will take a rickshaw
to experience another look of Beijing besides the bustling city.
Tonight you will enjoy the Peking Duck dinner.

After breakfast, take a trip to the most famous attraction– the Great Wall at Mutianyu section.
The Mutianyu Section of Great Wall located in the northern part of Huairou County is about
some 70 kilometers north-east of Beijing City. This solid wall and twenty-two blockhouses and
watchtowers make the wall different and featured from other section. And the surrounding
natural environment is most attractive. Here the mountains are densely covered by verdant
plants and tall ancient trees. You will take the cable car up and down the hill. On the way back
to downtown, you will stop by the Olympic venues to take photos of the Bird Nest and Water
Cube. This evening enjoy the Acrobatic show.

This morning you will visit the Temple of Heaven, used to be the place where the ancient
emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasty to worship a good harvest, now it is a public park
where the local people do morning exercise. Then visit the Lama Temple, the biggest Tibetan
Buddhism Temple outside Tibet. This afternoon you will continue to visit the Summer Palace.
Being the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, it greatly influences Chinese
horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has
long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’. Tonight is open for you to arrange
or pack your luggage.

You will be transferred to the train station for high-speed train to Xian, upon arrival, you will
meet the guide and visit the Muslim Quarter, it is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi’an
and covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. Muslim food and souvenir
market is another feature of the area. Tonight you will sample dumpling dinner.

This morning you will drive to the east suburb to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses
Museum. The great archeological excavation of Qin (221BC-206BC) unfolded a strong army of
altogether 8,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons arranged in battle
formations symbolically, guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. It is regarded as “The
Eighth Wonder of the World”. You will also visit the ancient City Wall, also known as
the Fortifications of Xi’an, it is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well

largest municipality in southwest China. It is a modern port city on the upper reaches of the
Yangtze River at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. Known as the ‘Mountain
City’, its landform is uneven and the buildings there distribute in an intriguing way, thus
Chongqing is also known as a 3D Magic City of China. You can hardly find a place anywhere
like Chongqing where you can see light rail traverses through a high rise. You will visit the

Jiefangbei CBD, located in the center of downtown Chongqing, also known as Jiefangbei
Pedestrian Street or Jiefangbei Square, is the busiest and most prosperous business district in
West China. You will see the most stylish Chongqing there. You will also visit Ci Qi Kou, where
conveys an impression of what Chongqing would have been like in the distant past. The history
of Ci Qi Kou can be traced back for more than 1,700 years. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties
(1368-1911), it was famous for its production of porcelain. To date, over twenty old kiln sites
have been discovered there. It is because of the importance of the porcelain industry that the
name has been changed from Long Yin to Ci Qi Kou which is translated as Porcelain Village.
Moreover, the village was an important supply post for shipping on the river, a fact that
explains why there are so many shops lining the twelve lanes paved with their large flag stones
that form the main routes. A tasty spicy Hot Pot Lunch will be arranged.
Later in the afternoon, you will board the Victoria cruise. Depart Chongqing – 9:00 pm: Sail
from picturesque Chongqing, the “Mountain City.”

sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing
excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions,
an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Xiling
