Your Iceland adventure starts the moment you disemark as we head straight out to explore the
beautiful south shore, one of the country ́s most scenic regions.

Stunning black beaches, rich birdlife and gorgeous waterfalls are among the characteristics of the south shore.

The first stop will be at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, a unique waterfall in the river Seljalandsá, about 30 km west from Skógar. It is 60 meters high with a foot path behind it at the bottom of the cliff, but with a thin cascade. It is the only known waterfall
of its kind in Iceland, where it is possible to walk behind it.

Next up is the Skógar folk museum & majestic Skógafoss waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft).

Lunch at Skógafoss Bistro or similar

We continue to the charming village Vik were you will see the LAVA show before checking into
your hotel. Arriving back at your hotel in the afternoon, dinner at hotel.

Special Guest Speaker at Welcome Aboard Dinner.

Overnight and dinner at Fosshotel Reykjavik or similar B/D

Today we continue our journey and head further east along the coast until we reach SkaftafellNational Park where we will spend the day.

This park is home of Europes largest icecap called Vatnajökull glacier & Icelands higest mountain Hvannadalshjúkur around 2110 meters.

Lunch at Hotel Skafafell

We continue our journey within the park and visit the spectacular Glacier lagoon where many filmmakers have been expired by the beauty of the area. Here you will sail along the floating icebergs that have broken off from the main glacier.

Also, you will go down to what has been called the diamond beach were hundreds of small icebergs are stranded. It can’t get any better for you to take the perfect photo !!

Arriving back at your hotel in the afternoon, dinner at hotel.

We start heading back the same route we came and make the time along the way to make some stops.

First up is Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon the perfect outdoor stop to stretch our legs.

Then we drive further along the south coast beneath the beautiful EyjafjöllMountains. On a clear day you might even see the notorious Eyjafjallajökull Glacier which erupted in 2010 towering over the area.

Continuetowards the dramatic Reynisfjarabeach, a gorgeous black pebble beach with impressive other-worldly basalt columns.

Final stop of the day is The LAVA centre were we learn all about volcanoes & earthquaks.

Arriving back at your hotel in the late afternoon where you will have dinner and overnight.

A great day awaits you as you will explore the golden circle.

We head to Icelandic horseworld for a stable visit & horseshow. Then to Friðheimar greenhouse for a pravite visit & l unch inside the greenhouse.

Next up is Gullfoss waterfall, an iconic waterfall offering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature.

Then continuing towards the Geysir geothermal area , witness Strokkur “ erupt approx every 10 minues or so. Watch out for the big splash of hot boiling water that can go up to 30 m high!

On the way to our next stop we visit Fontana were we will learn about geothermal activity & have a taste of rye bread they cook underground.

The last part of the golden circle route , but certainly not the least , Thingvellir National Park, the national shrine of Iceland. It is, for one, a key location in Icelandic history as the oldest existing parliament in the world first assembled there in 930 AD. Þingvellirhas for this reason been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.It is also protected as a national park due to its unique geology and natural features. Almannagjáis a canyon formed between two tectonic plates, a visual representation of continental drift.

Ending the day in Reykjavik in the late afternoon with dinner at the hotel.

Today is all about Reykjanes peninsula a UNESCO Global Geopark and part of the European and Global Geopark network.

This whole area belongs to one of the most volcanic areas in Iceland & for the last few years a source for thousands of earthquakes. This is all due to moulted lava trying to break through the Earth’s crust where the European and American tectonic plates are drifting apart

Start the day by going to Seltunmud pool area before we head to the Blue lagoon.

Lunch at LAVA Restaurant at the Blue lagoon.

We end our tour by dipping into the milky blue waters at the Blue lagoon before head to the airport.
